This post was created in partnership with Juicy Juice®. All opinions are my own.
One of the ways I like to share my love for my girls is to cook and bake with them. It’s just a fun way to spend time together and my girls especially enjoy it. So together we came up with a fun recipe and we think these kiwi strawberry poppy seed pancakes will be a deliciously fun way to start off your Valentine’s Day.
We love infusing fun flavors into our pancakes so we used our favorite Juicy Juice 100% juice, Kiwi Strawberry juice boxes for added flavor into our pancake.
Kiwi Strawberry Poppy Seed Pancakes Recipe
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 5 tbsp Juicy Juice Kiwi Strawberry
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter melted
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
Mix all of the dry incidents together. Gently mix in juice, milk, eggs and oil. Then cook on your stovetop in a medium heat.
What I liked to do in the kitchen is let my girls help. Learning to cut up fresh fruits and vegetables will help create healthy habits, plus it’s fun! So I let my daughter cut up all the berries for our topping. The topping is just chopping berries and 3 tablespoons of sugar
We simply topped our pancakes with the berry topping although you could easily create a simple sugar glaze for the topping as well. We think these are just so delicious. These are going to be a spring time favorite as well!
What are your favorite ways to start Valentine’s Day?
