An Open Letter To My Mom Tribe

This post is sponsored by merci Chocolates, a thoughtful collection of fine, European chocolates, all opinions are my own.

Most people don’t know this, but I recently took a full-time position at one of my favorite companies! Although I am beyond excited to start this new journey I can’t help but feel a little nervous as this means that my life just got a little more chaotic and stressful. I’ve been a stay at home mom for my girl’s entire life so the transition from that to working a full-time job is something that I’ve had to navigate carefully. It has made me realize that now more than ever it’s important to have real connections and rely heavily on the women in my life – My Mom Tribe.

An Open Letter to My Mom Tribe –

You ladies don’t know it but I’m forever thankful for your friendship. You’ve been there for me for as long as I can remember and have been my greatest support system. You’ve been my shoulder to lean and cry on. You’ve held my hand and picked me up when I needed it most. You’re always there to listen and understand without casting judgment. You forgive me when I need it and let me know when I am in the wrong. I look up to you not only as women but as mothers as well.

Amanda, you are kind and funny and always have my back even in times where I might not deserve it.

Tiayou’re the mother I aspire to be like. You always stay calm when I can tend be a little chaotic and always know exactly what to say. You’re one of those people that truly cares about others and it shows with everything you do.

Nancy, my sassy lady! You teach me so much about myself and the world around me on a daily basis. You never look at me as someone who’s much younger than you, but instead you embrace who I am and inspire me to never give up on my dreams. You have no idea how much I respect you and look to you for guidance.

Together we all have a unique bond that I am forever grateful for and I just want to say, Amanda, Tia and Nancy I appreciate your friendship and loyalty.

merci, for being you!!

I was lucky enough to partner with merci Chocolates to actually thank my Mom Tribe for all that we have been through together. We’re different ages and have all been through different stages of motherhood, but I really am grateful that I have each of them in my life to help me through the joys and everyday struggles of being a mom. We have a unique bond and respect for one another and lean on each other in times where we need it most. We are able to embrace each other’s differences and are constantly learning from one another. My Mom Tribe always puts a smile on my face, so when I got the chance to thank them for everything they have done for me I was so happy to be able to spoil them with an outing to one of our favorite places.

When each of them arrived, I handed them their very own box of delicious merci Chocolates. With a name that literally means thank you, merci believes there is no better way of expressing heartfelt gratitude than with a gift that speaks for itself.

merci offers a thoughtful collection of fine, European chocolates featuring eight unique, individually wrapped flavors, including Milk Chocolate, Coffee and Cream, Hazelnut-Almond, Hazelnut-Crème, Marzipan, Dark Cream, Dark Mousse and Praline-Crème. They’re light and delightful, the perfect way to feel totally spoiled!

It was so nice to be able to spend time making memories together while relaxing and enjoying each other’s company! It was so much fun to be able to take them out and shower them with a good time and delicious treats. It’s the least I can do for all they have done for me. I think as moms, we often don’t realize how important it is to have a Mom Tribe who is there as our biggest support system. It was really important to me to be able to say thank you and show my appreciation and gratitude for each of them.

So, this Mother’s Day I want to challenge you to do the same, to step out and thank your Mom Tribe for all they do for you!

How will you thank your mom tribe this Mother’s Day?
