Fun With Kids On The Go With The Wonster Words App

We are happy to partner with Wonster Words on this post. While compensation has been received all opinions are our own.

We do a lot of traveling, especially while on winter vacation so it’s nice to be able to keep our kiddos entertained when we need to with their devices. There’s nothing like being locked in a car for hours, or even boarding a plane with a preschooler who wants nothing more than to get up and play. That’s why I’m always looking for unique and fun games that keep our kids attention and help them stay entertained. It’s even better when you find a game that your kids enjoy playing, that’s also educational too.

Wonster Words is one of those games that y girls quickly started to enjoy. It is an award-winning iOS & Android game that helps kids learn to sound out words. It introduces basic word families and the 44 most common phonemes. It’s such a fun way to keep your little ones learning and having fun while staying entertained.

My kids like that you can pick words and then work through them. In Wonster Words, kids play with animated letters to put together the words. These animated letters will sound out the phonics, gliding vowels, and consonant blends as they are being played. Once the words are complete, then short animations and mini-games tells the story of the words via a group of adorable Wonster characters!

Plus new for 2017 there are so great new updates to the game. You’ll find birthday surprises, games, and even more adventures in space with the newest version of Wonster Words. Our preschooler is just learning how to put sounds together to make words, this game is not only exciting for her but it’s engaging. We can actually see her leaning and having fun with Wonster Words and it’s a great way to keep my girls entertained.

You can start now by downloading Wonster Words on iOS, Google Play, and Amazon.

What are some fun games your kiddos like to play while traveling?
