This Christmas season is all about spending time together as a family and making lasting memories. When my girls look back at Christmas during their childhood’s I want them to remember all the fun things we did. Our favorite holiday treat is warm hot cocoa. It’s been so cold here in Southern California so it finally feels like winter is here.
Before Christmas we always like to have a Santa breakfast. It’s just a weekend gathering where we snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie, bake cookies and just enjoy the day together. A lot of people like to also great creative with breakfast on Christmas morning. So we like to get creative and serve up all of our favorite things. This year I really wanted to create a hot cocoa station. With the help from Stephen’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa. For our hot cocoa station I left out Christmas themed mugs, peppermint spoons, marshmallows and other fun dipable treats for their hot cocoa. There was also three different kinds of Stephen’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa.
Some of Stephen’s Gourmet signature cocoa flavors include:
- Salted Caramel
- Mint Truffle
- Dark Chocolate
The S’mores was a favorite for our girls and the added peppermint spoons went well with the CandyCane Hot Cocoa. Just add water and you have a delicious gourmet cup of hot cocoa.
We also added in some milk which just added to the rich chocolate flavor of the hot cocoa. Each of our girls had fun personalizing their cup and it was the perfect addition to our weekend breakfast.
This holiday season hot cocoa also makes a great gift idea. Add in some marshmallows and you can easily create your own gift basket. To learn more about the unique and indulgent flavors of Stephen’s Hot Cocoa visit their website.
