Sambazon Acai Berry Guarana Superfood, Chia Seed, & Oatmeal Yogurt Parfait

Eating superfood for breakfast is a good way to start a busy day. We start our days usually around 7am and end hopefully before midnight. With waking 3 kids up and dealing with pets, then working and having a full schedule is tiring. On top of it all I have to pick and drop off kids at school, clean up after kids, think of dinner, homework, playing… the list does on. It is important to try and start and end my days with healthy and filling foods.

Now I am midway through my 30’s I can say I see more and more what old age really starts to mean. For me its about being active, but also have the energy I need to power through these busy days. I do this by making sure I eat a lot of greens, fruits of varying colors, different protein packed foods, and water. I even find myself tired when I am not keeping up on them.

I was introduced to Original Blend Açaí Superfruit Packs by Sambazon. These frozen superfood packs are gluten free, vegan and organic. They come in other variations including Pure Unsweetented Açaí Superfruit Packs and Original Açaí Berry Sorbet all great for different kinds of uses. I wasnt quite sure what to expect, but it was very tasty. It is sweet and berry tasting, perfect for pancakes, smoothies, toppings, nice dressing, anything really.

The Sambazon Acia Berry plus Guarana Superfood can be made into a delicious smoothie easily with some other frozen fruits and blend it up. Since the Sambazon is frozen its comes out in a super smooth drink. I however wanted to use it ina  breakfast food. I like to start days off with natural oats like those from Bob’s Red Mill. I also completed it all with Bob’s Red Mill Chia Seeds to all a little more texture and healthiness.

For this easy yogurt parfait idea start with the Sambazon Acai Berry and blend with any kind of frozen fruit chunks. I chose extra fruits because I like fruit! Next I just put some greek yogurt, my acai berry smoothie, oats, and Bob’s Red Mill Chia seeds.

    I love making healthy smoothies and this Acai Oatmeal Parfait looks so delicious. I want to make it for breakfast. It is so healthy!
