Simple Breakfast Ideas – Quick Veggie Omlette

This post was sponsored by ALDI as part of Influencer Activation for Influence Central.

We recently got the chance to check out our local ALDI store and we found many things we would actually use. One thing I like to make sure is that our family starts their day in a healthy way, a filling breakfast is always a must. So every trip to the store always includes breakfast essentials like eggs, cheese, and fresh fruits and vegetables. I also grabbed a few boxes of cereal just in case we need to quickly head out the door or morning. ALDO shopping haulMeals are a great time for families to come together, whether it’s gathering before the start of your day or coming together at the end it’s important to us that we create healthy meals and losing memories with our kids.

Breakfast just happens to be our favorite so I always make sure we have plenty of eggs and I found everything we need for our breakfast essentials right at ALDIALDI Simply Nature Omelette (2)One of our favorite quick breakfast ideas is a vegetable omelette and they’re so easy I let my girls help my out in the kitchen. They like doing simple things like mixing together the eggs. It’s always great to get kids involved in simple kitchen tastes and I have found that my girls just love to help out and cook. Kid stirring eggs

Quick Veggie Omelette Recipe

  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 3 Goldhen Large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper
  • a handful of spinach
  • 1/4 cup of SimplyNature® Organic Chunky Salsa
  • 1/2 of an avacado
  • 1/4 cup SimplyNature® Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Omelettes are great because they’re filling and flavorful and so easy to make. My favorite thing has to be adding the spinach and salsa just makes it so delicious. ALDI Simply Nature Salsa

The key to making a good omelette is heat up the pan and then add your eggs and veggies. I also use a small non-stick pan and find it works very well. I like to add the peppers and onion into the egg to allow them to cook throughout. Simple Made OmeletteAfter the veggies are in and I flip it over I add in the salsa and cheese and spinach. ALDI Simply Nature Shredded Cheese Organic MozzarellaThen you just flip it over and serve it with your favorite cut up fruit on the side. ALDI Simply Nature OmeletteThe cheese and salsa just make this breakfast omelette one of my favorite quick breakfast meals and it’s one our whole family enjoys. What’s great about omelettes is how easy you can switch them up and personalize them. Veggie Salsa Omelette

I like being able to shop at one place for the week for all of my meals and I found everything I need for the week at ALDI. With more ALDI locations opening up here in southern California we can see ourselves shopping at ALDI again soon.

Aldi is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at. Not only are their prices fantastic, but I love the quality of the items, too. Veggie omelettes are one of my top picks for breakfast. Occasionally I’ll add in meat, but most of the time it is just spinach, peppers, onions and cheese.

We have an Aldi coming soon, and I am counting down the days! I have been blown away by the prices that I’ve seen online, and all the creative meal ideas are inspiring me to shop there! This looks like a fun breakfast idea!

Woah, that omlette looks insanely delicious! I haven’t made an omlette in a while, I usually like my eggs scrambled. We have an Aldi here that we shop at too and it’s really so convenient and affordable, I love it.

Anything quick and easy is my type of breakfast especially during school days. Now it’s the summer and we have become quite lazy.

That looks delicious. We love scrambled eggs. Add some cheese and ham and we are in business.
