DSC_3448[1]There’s nothing more fun than celebrating the coming of the sun with our girls. There’s something truly delightful about creating something together and it’s one of the best ways to make memories and new traditions with our children. There’s also no better way to show and share love than by spending time together. Whether it’s creating your favorite summer treat or getting creative with a fun craft indoors on a hot day.
We just shared some fun summer fun ideas last week and now we wanted to share how we have fun in the sun. suncraft
Creating crafts with small children can be as simple as paper plates and brightly colored streamers. We had such a great time creating this sun craft and one thing our toddler enjoys doing is putting faces on things. We allowed her to get creative and we had a lot of fun! We enjoy spending time together in the kitchen and growing up the one thing I always enjoyed on a hot summer day was JELL-O Pudding. kraft jelloOne of our favorite treats in the summer is dirt cups. It’s easy enough for the kids to get involved with and delicious when it’s done. kraft dirt cupsTop with crushed cookies and gummy worms and you have a simple dessert that the whole family will enjoy. You can view the full JELL-O pudding Dirt Cups recipe from Kraft on their website.
I served this dessert in tiny little mason jars. Each one is ½ a serving. dirt cups recipe
The best way to create meaningful memories with our children is to spend time together. One of the best ways to create memories is in the kitchen. JELL-O pudding is not only deliciously easy to make with your children but with a few extra steps you can create a fun and meaningful snack idea that the whole family can participate in. The food shown in these photos is meant to be served in jars that are 1/2 serving size each—two jars per person! kraft jello

What a fun craft to do with the kids and also enjoy making these cute pudding dirt cups. The kids would enjoy both.
