Make Summer Learning An Adventure

This is a partnered post with The Motherhood and Brain Chase. BrainChase summer learning

Summer is coming and as parents we want to be sure our kids are staying active and healthy all summer long. Staying active doesn’t mean just getting out to play it also means keeping the mind sharp and through the summer months I hope our girls will continue learning and most of all having fun while doing it.

Brain Chase is a 5-week online summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. Each summer, a golden mechanical treasure will be buried somewhere on earth. It will contain the key to a safety deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. Each week your children complete an hour of learning and get clues to where the treasure is hidden! BrainChase (1)

The Sunstone of Cortés trophy is now complete. Here you can see a video of the Sunstone being made. It is about 12 inches in diameter and has mechanically rotating components that open to reveal the center compartment, where the key to retrieve the $10,000 prize will be hidden.

Beginning May 1, after early bird pricing ends, Brain Chase will be offering their regular pricing package ($199 for the first registration, and then $100 for each sibling), along with a premium pricing package that will include Brain Chase registration plus a Brain Chase-branded adventure backpack, a Brain Chase t-shirt and Sunstone of Cortés patch ($249 for the first registration, and then $149 for each sibling).

Be sure to check out the Brain Chase adventure learning blog.

How will you keep your kids learning this summer?
