Our Grand Canyon Stay With Embassy Suites In Flagstaff Arizona

We partnered on our trip to the Grand Canyon this summer with Embassy Suites in Flagstaff, AZ and our ordinary summer vacation was awesome!

We had a chance to visit so many places here in the Southwest USA, that we stayed busy this whole summer. From the Coasts of Southern California to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona we saw so many places and still have so many more to see. It’s great to take road trips, and the trip from California to Arizona offers too much to see and do. We first spent a night to visit the Hoover Dam and swam on the Colorado river in Laughlin, NV.

We next made our way East for the grand plan, the GRAND CANYON!!! Being our first year living in Southern California we thought this would be a close-to-home trip. The kids had never been there and we had only visited the North rim for a few hours after having the great idea to visit during a day while in Las Vegas for Blog World one year. It was a great fall drive through Utah and cloudy.

This time we brought the kids during hot summer and missed out on any storms. We used our Grand Canyon stay and chose Embassy Suites Flagstaff for its location and off course accommodating rooms and services. Traveling with a family of kids, having the room and a personal fridge, sink, and microwave is very useful. Plus we also enjoyed the complementary breakfast that had omelettes and other made to order hot-ff-the-grill orders, was really nice.

The room was great for us, the kids occupied the living room and we had our own suite with our own HDTV for ourselves. This allowed us to let the kids wind down and ourselves to have a little peace and quiet, remember this is a road trip, lots of noise going on, constantly!

Our room has plenty of space to allow us to come back after our long hikes through Sunset Crater park and Waputki National Monument. We spent 2 days hiking around so it was nice to come back to our home away from home, and be able to get comfortable quickly allowing for a nice quite night sleep. These are some of the most important things I look for in any nice hotel stay.

After the Grand Canyon we made our way south to Tucson, AZ and to visit everything to offer including the Saguaro National Park, the Colossal Cave Mountain Park and of course the infamous Tombstone, AZ. Again this was all a reasonable trip and a very easy drive.

Having the right room, something that can accommodate a family on a road trip was what we needed and Embassy Suites gave us the space we needed to unwind like a family on a roadtrip.
