bts must haves

It’s time to send the kiddos back to school and this year we have a few things that we really think will make heading back to school a little easier.

We start off with packing lunch, I want to be sure I pack a lunch that is healthy and safe for everyone. Our school has a nut free policy so it’s nice to know there are options you can buy at stores that are nut free which means you can actually take them in as a treat for the entire class. Nut free frosted cookies from Rich Products are a great answer for every nut-free back to school snack fix. With Brooklin finally in Kindergarten, they made a grade wide rule, not peanut items at school. So many things has trace amounts, so its important we have to be aware. The Rich Products Nut Free Frosted Sugar Cookies are a great way to pack a tasty treat, making for a happy kid at the end of the day. Plus she knows she wont get more if she doesn’t eat all her food, problem solved!

I don’t know what its is a bout a beautifully made sugar cookie, but the Frosted Sugar Cookies from Rich Products were so moist, we had to put the container away. Our kids loved them and they made great delicious treats. Wasn’t hard to get our kids to do things with the reward possibly being a Frosted Sugar cookie!

Another back to school must have goes techie with the Sphero. The Sphero isn’t just your ordinary toy, this extraordinary robot is inspiring young innovators and educating them while they play. We actually ran into this some years back at an expo and wanted to get our hands on one! This thing is great to entertain ages 0-100+ years old.

You start out by downloading the app on your iPhone or Android device. Drive Sphero, watch Sphero dance and interact within Sphero’s robotic world right through your phone. We have had so much fun with this little device. From just do free driving to playing the built in games, there are endless possibilities with Sphero. Whats great is we can sync it to both mom and dads phone and its easy to take places. Then the kids can do something active instead of just watching a screen. We’ve also had a lot of fun playing with our dogs, just be careful to watch any pets.

Sphero takes education seriously and there’s an easy way to get many students involved with the SPRK Education Program. It’s been a really great new way for my children to interact and play with a toy. It’s one of those things I wished we would have had sooner. We have even thought of things to do with it maybe during halloween and its great for night time play. With the rubber grip cover Nubby, Sphero can off road it in the grass and over obstacles. It’s all around fun in the best of ways!

I quickly saw how Sphero taught our daughter eye and hand coordination, to realize how to control a remote device by hand while watching it. It was challenging enough to keep her entertained time and time again, and add in a dog, the fun can go on and on for what seems like ever. Sphero is one of our favorite family toys because we can all have fun with it, but we also take it on trips for something to do, day or night, indoor and outdoors. Its a new family favorite!

The last must have for back to school will keep you organized and keep your photo memories together in one place all year. I know this time of year I am taking more photos than ever so I want to share them and actually enjoy them. I take so many pictures to be honest I some times worry about there they all are.

Lyve Photo Video Storage Manager WiFi (3)

The Lyve  allows you to view your photos and videos from any mobile device via the Lyve app, with the full resolution originals safe on your LyveHome. That means you can save, view and store all of those first day of school photos right at home. It makes it easy to backup your phone, while also having a digital picture frame to share it all.

Lyve Photo Video Storage Manager WiFi (2)

You can select and store your photos and view them from your computer and for your phone. You always have a place to store those photos so you can always make extra room on your phone if you need to. And the Lyve also works off a homes wi-fi system, so accessing it is easy anywhere, no relying off being close iwht some type of short range wireless setup, send your pictures to your LyveHome while on the road, and know their safe.

Lyve Photo Video Storage Manager WiFi (4)

It’s easy to set up and even easier to use, I really have enjoyed being able to see our photos over and over again. I can see us changing out the photos and using this as a storage device often. This is also great for moms and dads and grandparents to know whats going on, just hook up your phone or computer to their LyveHome and send them pictures instantly, let them wake up to new images.

This year head back to school with the latest and hottest gear. I know I’m glad we found some new favorites to add to our back to school must haves!
