Kohler Touchless Toilet Flush Kit & Nighlight Toilet Seat Upgrades

The bathroom is one of the most used rooms in our home. Its used to clean ourselves, to make messes, especially in the toilet. From touching the door knobs, to the toilet seat, and the faucets, germs have the chance and do get everywhere. We have always taught our kids to wash their hands and at least rinse them, and we have never really had them sick, so it must be working.

But there are new ways these days to keep the germs to a minimal at home. Obviously wash your hands, this is important for going to places and for their long term health. It prevents so many illnesses from colds to intestinal bugs, by reducing germs and keeping them away from our mouths and our bodies immune system.

But there are also other ways to prevent germs being spread from the bathroom and into the world. The KOHLER Touchless Toilet flush kit technology is a simple and easy install system that converts your existing Canister or Flapper-type toilet to a hands free one with no major toilet replacement. Check out this guide for more about what toilets work.

With 2 busy bathrooms we decided to upgrade the toilet seats with a Kohler Transitions® Toilet Seat (designed to accommodate the needs of both adults and children without requiring separate toilet seats) and the cool and helpful Kohler Nightlight Toilet Seat (the seat features two LED light displays that illuminate your toilet, perfect for kids or anyone who needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night).

The Kohler Transition® seat comes in a few lighter colors while the Nightlight comes in 10 different color shades from lighter to darker for all bathrooms. There are also different options of lid types which include the Catchet® your typical cover and Reveal®, which hides the toilet seat (see below).

The transitions seat is great for our kids because it has a toilet seats for all the different bottom sizes and stages in potty use. Our youngest that turned 2 years old is now starting to potty train and we don’t have to use an external toilet seat for her to practice on like we did with the other kids. The small potty seat is included into the entire seat allow for 2 different seats to be used for the different kids.

The LED Nightlight seat is great for night users to see where the toilet is and to also lift it with ease. It uses to 2-AA batteries and can be set to turn on for 7 hours each night at a preset time

Both seats also feature the awesome non-slamming seats and lids. This is great for the male of the house who has to many times pick up the seat then put it down, great guy. No more having to bend over to let it down! Plus they are very stain resistant.
