Saving money is probably one of the most important things we can all do for ourselves and for our futures and our children’s  futures. With the vast numbers of banks and different checking, savings and investing options it is important to know what you are doing with your money and making sure you get the most out of it.
Tomorrow I will be working with The Motherhood to co-host a twitter chat about banking. Seriously #LetsTalkBanking is something that my husband and I have everday alomost with running a small business. And with any household there is always money to be made and saved and then there is the spending side of it. Every family has their own financial habits and we all have very diffeent needs. But one need I am sure we can all agree on is how to get the most from our money and ultimately with the institution that is caring for it.
There are so many great banking options available these days. From large to small banks, and private to union owned, banks vary greatly along with what they have to offer. We have tried a few banks to see if they could offer what we need and to be honest we have always found ourself sticking with a major bank. We have our reasons for it, but what works for our needs does not suit others. I myself can learn some new tips and ideas on how to make our money work for us and our banking situation make the best of our hard work!

The topics we plan to cover in the #LetsTalkBanking twitter party will be related choosing or changing banks, different spending behaviors and patterns along with the benefits seen with different saving habits! We have a few benefits with our bank like cash back and points, but would like to make learn of some better saving ideas! We want to hear your feedback and ideas, so please join us in sharing some of your ideas, thoughts and opinions!
We all know how important it is to be financially savvy and how important it is to be up to par on financial issues and thinking. With all of the benefits available it is important to take advantage of the right ones for your situation. Being a young family with 3 daughters, my husband and I are always checking into our banking habits and services to make sure we are getting all the best from our banking experience that we can.
