Thankful

thankfulSometimes it’s easy to get lost in the day to day shuffle. I’ve found myself trying to work harder at the relationships closest to me in this past year and that includes being more thankful in my every day life. It’s easy to get busy, or tired, or a million other excuses but I have found that if I make the choice to be happy and thankful in every moment I am here I am finding greater joy in my life.

We can all be thankful more than one day of the year but on this Thanksgiving I am so thankful for so many things.

Thankful for my husband. Caring, intelligent and always the person I can turn to.

Thankful for my daughters who are each different and unique. They each are caring, kind and loyal. They are each a piece of us.

Thankful for my family for their never ending support and love.

Thankful for my friends who are loyal and true.

Thankful for my career which makes me excited each and every day.

Thankful for this life that I’m in because even in the chaotic moments I wouldn’t trade it for the world. This year I am thankful and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. To everyone who ever gave me a chance, and to everyone who ever doubted me for pushing me forward. For making me stronger and smarter and happier than I have ever been.

Here’s to another year of happiness and gratitude!

You are so right about getting wrapped up in the day to day things life throws at us. I have been working on just trying to be thankful for the little things. sometimes the little things end up being big things in the end. Every moment counts as a memory. I try to make them count.
    Happy Thanksgiving!
