Our Marriott Residence Inn LAX/Manhattan Beach Stay #RIMom

During our stays earlier this year in Southern California, we were happy to partner up with Marriot Residence Inn properties. They provided us with a few nights stay and we chose their property down the road from Manhattan Beach.

The Residence Inn Los Angeles LAX / Manhattan Beach was a great choice for us for many things. First its location was near the beach, but also in the Los Angeles area which was important for our visits to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Medieval Times Buena Park, and the famous haunted Queen Mary cruise ship. It was less than 30 miles from each attraction, about 30 minute drives. Plus we were near many other great things to see such as the La Brea Tar Pits, Pinkies Hotdogs, and so much more!

The property was nice and has undergone a major renovation and upgrade to the entire property and rooms. The location was done the road from food of all types and shopping and retail stores.

Our room came with a king size bed and full size hide-away bed. We had a playpen and it worked out great for us all. What are nice about the Residence Inn properties are the kitchen areas. We had a full size fridge and freezer, fullsize microwave, stove top, and counter top. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and plate ware. We brought some food and bought as needed, so it was nice being able to make food without having to load up the kids or packing in fast foods.

The finishes were all nice and a flat screen LCD TV is always a nice bonus, which my husband insists we only stay in properties that have them. And the central AC worked great which was nice with the warmer temperatures, plus the fan is nice to keep out noises.

We called the Residence Inn at Manhattan Beach our home for 3 days. Breakfast was provided complimentary and it was a nice hot breakfast buffet. The remodeled building looks nice. The kids enjoyed their room away from home which is very important.

Many of the properties offer nicely furnished common areas and business suites. Check out the other Residence Inn properties for their specific amenities and offerings.

If you’re traveling with the family or want a more spacious and homely feeling play, check out a Marriott Residence Inn. You get that space you need to relax, make a beautiful dinner, or enjoy the local city and what it has to offer!

We were provided with a Residence Inn giftcard that was equal to a few nights stays.

What a great room! I love the kitchen. I bet that comes in handy while traveling with a baby!
