Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Amore Pasta

I decided to put one of the Hungry Girl recipes to the test a recipe I know my whole family would enjoy! What do you get when you mix Grilled & Ready® chicken breast chunks with creamy tomato soup, Italian seasonings and portabella mushrooms? Chicken Amore Pasta

Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Amore Pasta


  • 6 ounces Grilled & Ready® Chunks
  • 1 cup creamy tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 cups broccoli cole slaw
  • 1 cup portabella mushroom
  • cut into bite sized pieces


Cooking Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix soup with sour cream. Stir in basil and Italian seasoning.
  2. Bring a large skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat. Add broccoli slaw and 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook until fully softened, 10 to 12 minutes. Uncover and, if needed, cook and stir until water has evaporated, 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer slaw to a large bowl and blot away excess moisture.
  4. Remove skillet from heat, re-spray and return to medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook and stir until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile prepare Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Chunks according to package directions.
  6. Add chicken, soup mixture and slaw to the skillet. Cook and stir until hot and well mixed, 1 to 2 minutes.

• 6 ounces Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast
• 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
• 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium/lite soy sauce
• 1-1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 2 teaspoons granulated white sugar
• 1 teaspoon Asian chili sauce, or more to taste
• 3/4 cup roughly chopped mushrooms
• 3/4 cup roughly chopped bell pepper
• 1/2 cup chopped celery
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1/4 cup canned, sliced water chestnuts, drained and halved
• 1 tablespoon chopped dry-roasted unsalted peanuts
• Optional seasoning: red pepper flakes
Cooking Instructions:
1. To make the sauce, in a medium bowl, combine cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water, and stir to dissolve. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and chili sauce. Mix well.
2. Bring a wok (or large skillet) sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, bell pepper, celery, onion, garlic, and 2 tablespoons water. Cook and stir until mostly softened, 6-8 minutes.
3. Add Grilled & Ready® Diced Chicken Breast, water chestnuts, and peanuts, and raise heat to high.
4. Stir sauce and add to wok. Cook and stir until chicken is hot and sauce has thickened, 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!

Your partner will be glad you didn’t skip straight to dessert when you serve Hungry Girl’s Naked Chicken Parm.  With this mouth-watering meal, you can still feel like you’re indulging… but without any of the guilt.

Total Time: 25 min
• 2 sticks of light string cheese
• 2 Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Frozen Chicken Breast Fillets
• 1/2 cup low-fat marinara sauce
Cooking Instructions:
1. Tear string cheese into pieces, and roughly chop.
2. Place frozen Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Fillets on a microwave-safe plate. Cover and microwave for 2-1/2 minutes.
3. Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium heat. Add both chicken fillets and top with sauce, followed by cheese.
4. Cover and cook until sauce is hot and cheese has melted, about 1 minute. Ta-da!
