Love, Exercise & Relationships #Mamavation

feb 23rd
Last week the iheartomron Challenge ended, my kiddos got sick and so did I. My birthday was yesterday so I used it as an excuse to go on an extra long run. My kiddos were so excited to give me a cake and I really tried to enjoy a piece but everything was wrong with it and sadly I just dumped it in the trash. Just too sweet!! To be perfectly honest, the entire family agreed so we all had a bowl of organic ice cream instead.

I felt really great running this week. During yesterdays run as I hit mile 3 my body went numb and I felt a rush. My head went into a place of deep thought and I it occurred to me that this is why I love running so much. My favorite song coming through my headphones pushed me even further and again a rush all over my body.

I’m finally running at a pace that is improving too, I really feel great and my body is starting to show it.

Workouts:

  • Zumba 8,678 steps Average HR 116
  • Ran 4.39 miles in 60 minutes average HR 112
  • Ran 2.6 miles average HR

Weigh In: (weight lost since Jan 1st)

  • – 17.5 pounds

March 9th is our Virtual 5K! Have you signed up yet?

This Mamavation Monday is all about love and relationships and putting that spark back into your bedroom. I’ll be candid here and admit my husband and I don’t need help in this area. I just want to inspire other women to love their husbands more and that means in the bedroom too! A healthy sexual relationship will not only make you both happier but it develops closeness and strengthens our marriage. When our relationship is strong our relationship in the bedroom is also improved so my biggest advice is work on your problems before you hit your bedroom. A relationship built on love and respect is a great place to start!

One of the reasons I am so inspired to lose this extra weight is to feel sexy again. To have that better intimacy and just feel better in my skin. I’m not doing it for my husband I’m doing it for myself! Okay so, a little for him too……

I love my children and all but there are no photos of my kids in my room. In fact, my husband and I both agree that our bedroom is our own. Try decluttering your room and making it more of an inviting space but don’t keep you and your hubby restricted to the bedroom either. HA! Find out what you both like and have fun! A healthy sexual relationship is also great for the body, talk about getting in extra cardio!

This week over at Mamavation one lucky winner will receive intimacy advice and tips and tricks from Coach Nicole. Go ahead and enter too!

I really want to reach that moment of numbness where my body just keeps moving and my head just keeps thinking — I just can’t seem to get there!

There is nothing like that point when all is good i the world you get from running. I was never a runner and just figured that little “Running Secret”. I like that advice about make your bedroom about the adults no kiddies looking around my room and it is Kids Zone. Going to start cleaning it out now.
