Horizon Organic Juice Box Replacement Challenge‏ – Giveaway

We buy Horizon products already in our home so we were thrilled to take the juice box replacement challenge with Horizon. We replaced the organic apple juice in my kids lunch box with shelf-stable Horizon Organic milk boxes. My kids just loved the switch, with chocolate, strawberry and vanilla organic milk it was a nice treat in their lunch boxes. I like also using Horizon milk boxes on-the-go and since they are shelf stable I can always keep one or two in my diaper bag to take with us. No more mommy I’m thirsty or hungry when we’re out and about, a tasty organic milk box is perfect to keep those unhealthy snacks away.

By switching out juice drink boxes for milk boxes in school lunches, you can replace ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and artificial preservatives often found in juice for the calcium, protein and vitamin D found in milk, all of which are important for growing kids. We were so thankful to Horizon for sending us this lunch box and products to replace our organic juice boxes.

“Lunch Box of the Week” photo contest  through which fans can upload photos of their creative, healthy lunch box ideas featuring Horizon Organic milk boxes and other nutritious foods in exchange for a coupon for $1 off the purchase of Horizon Organic milk boxes. Parents who upload a photo will also have a chance to win a weekly Horizon Organic prize packs.     My kids are learning healthy eating habits at our house. We aren’t 365 days a year crazy about it, but 98% of the time, they eat whole wheat, Agave, lots of veggies, lean protein, and fruits. They are learning how to eat healthy for a lifetime
