Blu-Ray Review: Dr.Seuss The Lorax

The Lorax By Dr. Suess is a great film for the whole family. The Lorax is the speaker for the trees. The Once-ler just happen to be traveling through and happened to see the trees and discovered how soft it was and how many things it could be used to make.

So he starts by cutting the Truffula trees down create jobs and wealth. But at what expense? As he grows his business, he shrinks the lands resources around him. The trees are cut, the air filled with smoke, and the ponds filled with gloop. The Brown Bar-ba-loots and hummingfish are forced to leave. But when the last tree is cut down, it is all over for everyone. All the workers have to leave and the factory is out of commission.

The land turns to waste and the Lorax leaves the Once-ler with a patch of grass with the title unless. A young boy is given a seed by the Once-ler and is told to plant it and take care of it and the Lorax and all his friends will return.
