Great Wolf Lodge – Our Howl-O-Ween Adventures

Starting October 7th through October 31st, Great Wolf Lodge celebrates Howl-O-Ween with a number of fun activities for the whole family. Our family is currently spending the weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Washington. We arrived today and were hit directly with the festivities.

This spider features 7,000 balloons and today it broke a world record for a single artists created balloon sculpture. The last one was a giant bi-plane. It filled the lobby and made it truly feel Howl-O-Ween like. There were also spiders hanging from places and climbing on walls with spider webs adorning the lobby as well.

The Trick Or Treat Trail allowed the kids to follow a Magi-Quest type map to different areas around the hotel. The sweet shop, the arcade, and many others filled the bags with a candy and toys.  This is Brooklin’s first ever time trick or treating and she had a blast.

Hair feathering, perfect for Howl-O-Ween!!

The girls then danced off all that energy in a spooky dance party right in the lobby with a live DJ. It was so much fun!!! I’m so glad Great Wolf does things like this, they make anyone’s trip truly unique and special.

We ended the night with a giant Campfire sundae at one of the restaurants in the hotel. Kaila had to meet Violet and she waited so patiently during the dance party and finally got her turn.

Today we will create some pumpkin crafts, and see what else Howl-O-Ween here at Great Wolf Lodge has to offer.

Wow that spider is huge! We’ve been to the GWL in NC and love it, but never during Howl-o-ween.

I love this and cannot wait to be able to go, I realize it is for older toddlers, My 18 month old really wouldn’t enjoy himself, I ? though if it’s really worth the money. Your children are gorgeous and this seems like the perfect way to kick off the Halloween festivities
